A baby seagull…

A baby seagull calls out standing on a wooden pillar, maybe 10 metres away. It’s pretty, they look free, but I’m ignorant to their days. The beach smells beachy, wafting up my nose, being processed by my brain, then some unknown. A happy dog running and splashing in the sea, zooming to a ball, seeming so free. A crow tottering around the sand looking for food or maybe just enjoying a stroll. Long grass on sand dunes, each waving it’s own way with it’s own unwitnessed growth. Couples with dogs, friends, men with dogs, other people alone. A child laughing and bounding to the water. Footsteps in sand, rocks planted on walls, a dog each with their own name. An unfathomable number of rays letting me see the whole thing. To appreciate individuality, break apart the whole. It is glorious, it is everything. These are relaxing and reassuring thoughts.
